A complete, yet affordable video solution
When integrating with the Small Medium Business (SMB) solution as shown in INTEGRATING AVAYA IP OFFICE WITH THE SMB SOLUTION, you deploy the Scopia XT Series MCU Edition for hosting videoconferences, the Scopia XT Desktop Server for Scopia Desktop Client and Scopia Mobile connectivity, and the XT5000 Series for connectivity with remote H.323 endpoints.
In this solution the Scopia XT Series MCU Edition hosts video conferences of up to nine users, one meeting at a time. Locating the Scopia XT Series MCU Edition in the DMZ enables remote H.323 endpoints to connect to the meeting. It performs SIP registering out of the box to IP Office’s PBX.
The Scopia XT Desktop Server is located in the DMZ to enable Scopia Desktop Clients and Scopia Mobile devices to join meetings. The Scopia XT Desktop Server has its own built-in firewall traversal features.
