CALL QUEUES
Inbound calls are directed into a queue, where the caller is put on hold for an available queue agent. Agents can log in and log out of the queue to accept calls. Customers will hear join announcements and hold music when on hold. Queues are much more powerful than normal ring groups as you have more advanced ring options. Callers can also hear queue position and queue estimated wait time.

With a Hosted PBX, a business can change its call settings in a flash. The same way an employee can log in and easily route their phone number to a new device. Cloud-based PBXs make accessing features like call forwarding, names, answering point, and Voicemail as easy as logging in.

ADVANCED VOICEMAIL
Once the caller has left a voicemail message to your extension or group, it is converted to a .wav audio file and sent to you as an email attachment. The email message even includes a transcription of the message. Plus others, typical key details such as the time and date the new voicemail was created and the phone number of the person that left the message. You can then listen to the .wav file on your computer or from your mobile device.
RING GROUPs
Inbound calls are directed to a set of users on the hosted pbx and they ring all phones at the same time. If no one is available to answer, it can be programmed to roll to a back-up group or forward to a voicemail.

1. CHECK YOU HAVE A SIP COMPATIBLE PBX
First and foremost, you’ll need SIP compatable phones, a SIP compatible PBX or a or a PBX adapted to SIP using an adapter. Some PBX systems support SIP out of the box, while others may need a line card or SIP Gateway adapter installed. If you’re not sure if your PBX will work, please contact us and we’d be happy to help.
2. CHECK YOU HAVE SUITABLE INTERNET CONNECTION
You’ll also need a Broadband connection with enough bandwidth to support the number of concurrent calls you’d like to make. Most NBN connections are suitable for most businesses. As an indication, a standard NBN connection is usually sufficient for about 10 concurrent calls.
3. SELECT A PLAN
